2022 DE Athletics Carnival

It was an absolute pleasure to be involved in running the first ever Distance Education Athletics sports carnival and to see so many people from all over our Distance Education community coming together, working together, and enjoying a beautiful day. It was such a joy.

Thank you to all the grandparents, parents, carers, students, staff and volunteers who all worked together to make this such a beautiful day. To see students who normally meet online coming together, working together and enjoying each other's company was a delight. Looking back over the photos it was so great to see students putting their best efforts forward and also thinking of others.

A special thanks go to those behind the scenes efforts of Langford Brown, Chloe Trent, Bronwyn Jansz and Kelly Sephton. Plus a special mention to Daniel and Bronwyn Pitman for transporting so much material required up from Albany. A truly magnificent day and a pleasure to be a part of. The 2023 Athletics sports carnival is already on the agenda.
