Wow, what a term. It was a privilege to be involved in each of the below events and I look forward to the next ones. If you would like more information on Duke of Ed, DE Student Leadership, or Chess Club please feel free to contact me (contact details below). 

Yr 9 DE Students Caitlyn & Isabella joined Mrs Pitavanik, 9 on campus students (Yr 9 / Yr 10) and me on an epic Adventure as part of their Duke of Ed requirements. They hiked from Peaceful Bay to the Franklin River (near Walpole) passing the Tree Top Walk. Unfortunately, it rained a lot on Day 2 this year. I’m so proud of Caitlyn & Isabella for their resilience. An experience I’m sure they will never forget. 

ACC Won for the 2nd year in a row at the Great Southern Secondary Schools Chess Competition. Some of these on campus students verse our DE students in Chess Tuesdays in our combined DE & OC Chess Club. 

Our inaugural “All in” DE Assembly was a huge success with over 200 joining this online assembly via the Google Meet link. Our DE student leaders played a valuable part in this assembly.
