At the beginning of the term our Chaplaincy team grew, both on campus and DE. I am now Full Time DE and Mrs Sharon Morton is 4 days. We are here primarily in supporting student wellbeing.

Mrs Sharon Morton
Recently we encouraged secondary students to complete the Youth Radar Questionnaire. The Youth Radar questionnaire helps us to identify students who may benefit from a Chaplain Appointment or a phone call.
Another great tool we used to identify students who would benefit from a check in call or chaplain appointment is Pulse. Secondary students get a weekly email sent to their school email account with a link they can click as a check in. Through Pulse we can identify students who need some help, feeling negative, feeling in the middle, feeling positive, feeling great, trending up, trending down and more. We would love to encourage all students to use Pulse regularly.
ACC Connect, Student Leadership & Duke of Ed are other areas we get involved in as Chaplains.
We also recently had student leadership applications for 2025 open and a record number of applications have been received. This year's student leaders have been a joy to work with. They bring so much value to our school community and I am excited to see what next year's team will be able to bring to our community.
At the end of year presentations, we will be presenting this year's student leaders with a certificate of appreciation, announcing next year's student leaders and awarding those who completed Duke of Ed this year.
Please contact me for more information on these things (Chaplaincy in DE, ACC Connect, Student Leadership, Duke of E).
