Atkinson's Giants off to Adelaide

During the holidays Chloe Atkinson (Year 9) and her Wanneroo Giants Charter team competed at the Junior League Baseball State Championship at Baseball Park, Thornlie. Her team were joint winners and have earned their place to compete at the 2021 Australian Junior League Championship in Adelaide on the 16th to 20th May.

When asked about the win, Chole said:

“I don't have much to say really. I just love playing baseball and actually I love playing sports in general. I am very excited to play in Adelaide but also nervous because I'm the only girl and I will have to travel with a group of guys. I'm hoping that Covid doesn't hit though.”

We wish Chloe and her team every success in Adelaide (as she shows all the boys how it’s done) and we will be praying they return home without any Covid dramas!
