End of Term 2 Excursion - SciTech

The end of Term Two excursion to SciTech was a major success and enjoyed by students, parents and ACC staff alike.

Our greatest observation was the positive connection and interactions made by the students to cement old and create new friendships. It was wonderful to see students and teachers put faces to names. It was also great for parents to be confident to leave their children participating in the activities and find common ground together over coffee in the cafe.

Fostering relationships will always be an overarching aim for all our excursions.

SciTech uses scientific knowledge, skills and understandings to provide hands-on interactive learning. The popularity of this excursion and the positive feedback we received means we will explore making this an annual event.
