Thank you to all parents and supervisors who helped their students to log in and complete the NAPLAN tests. Watching the teachers manage the tests from this side of the screen is certainly an eye-opener as they manage multiple students, screens, chats, and questions. Please encourage your students to relax and learn from the process.
Mrs Phipson posted on Takumuna about sharing hobbies and interests with others. Penelope is one of our Year 5 students who really enjoys her horse riding hobby. Here are some things she has been involved in with her horses, Dustyn and Pip:

DUSTYN: He is a 13.3hh 12 year old, part bred Welsh Buckskin, he is mainly a show jumper but I am trying to get him out places and do more dressage on him.
I hope by the end of the year we will be doing 95cm+ jumping. My favourite events are, state show jumping, state dressage, Wallangarra ode (one day event), Patrons Cup, Yalambi, and more!

PIP: Pip is a little Welsh 14 year old white pony, he hasn't done much but I was hoping I could bring him on as a little pony to have fun and ride around on! I do hope I can do some dressage events on him and maybe lower heights in jumping because he is quite a spooky pony! I love to take Pip for a nice canter on the beach for a relaxing ride. This weekend I did Capel CCN eventing but I got eliminated in cross country as he was a bit spooky.
Thank you for sharing, Penelope. I think a canter on the beach sounds like a perfect way to relax.
