We would like to extend a big welcome to our new families. We hope you enjoy your time with us and encourage you to make contact with myself or teachers if you have any questions.
Next term we will be scheduling an online parent/supervisor Q & A session held via BigBlueButton on the first Monday of the term. The purpose of this is for staff to communicate important information and to give you an opportunity to seek clarification or ask any questions you might have. Please email any questions you would like us to address to Carol Eaves and we will make sure we are prepared. Further information will be communicated closer to the time.
You will have recently received by email, a Google Form to fill in with information relating to your child’s personal, social and work habits. This form is required for reporting purposes and we would appreciate it if this could be completed by Wednesday, May 15 for uploading. We have attempted to simplify this process by sending it as an electronic form, but if you would prefer to receive it via email to download, please contact me or your child’s teachers.
On the subject of reports, teachers are currently marking work and preparing to enter grades. Work due after our deadlines will be included in second semester reports. Teachers will be unable to offer extensions for assessments required for reporting this semester. The report for semester one will offer valuable insights into your child’s progress and areas for growth. It is an opportune time to celebrate successes and help your child set goals and strategies for the rest of the year.
Our Year One DE students had fun playing with Playdough in Science to learn about how materials can change. Here are some of their fantastic creations! Mrs Shenfield.

Hi Everyone,
This is Steggy the Stegosaurus. I made Steggy by rolling out lots of different sized balls and other shapes. I made four small balls for the legs, one big ball for the body and one smaller ball for the head. I put them all together. I then rolled out a long tail and put it on the back of Steggy. I fattened pieces of play dough to make the plates on the back of the Stegosaurus. I had a lot of fun making Steggy.
From Noah.
