Welcome to all the new families who have joined us this term. We hope you enjoy your time with Distance Education. We understand that the first few weeks can be quite daunting and present a steep learning curve, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to your classroom teacher if you have any questions about the courses. Rest assured that if you have a query, you are probably not alone; we are here to help. We have a set of modules available within the Parent and Guardian Noticeboard, designed to assist you with some of the tasks and requirements you will encounter. You are able to access these at any time.
Please don’t forget to register for our Athletics carnival at the end of term. Students get to participate in all the usual sports such as running races, ball games, novelty events, etc. You can find all the details on our registration link.

Well done to the students who competed on Thursday, the 8th of August in the Australian Maths Competition. Thank you to Mr Brown and Mrs Lagesse who ensured they were well supervised. We look forward to seeing the results.

We strongly encourage our students and families to engage in activities outside of school. Extra-curricular interests such as sports, art, writing, music, collecting, clubs, and community groups all help us to learn new skills, relate to and accommodate each other, and give us an opportunity to contribute by helping, modelling, and guiding others. Adelaide Backo in Year 5 has found a hobby that brings her a great deal of pleasure. We hope you enjoy reading her excellent article about showing her cat. Well done, Adelaide, on writing a very informative and interesting report.
